CHICKEN KABAB

ngredients :

6 almonds
6 green chillies
6 cloves garlic
1 inch piece fresh ginger root, peeled
1 cup chopped fresh cilantro(dhone pata)
salt to taste
1 lemon, juiced
1/2 cup sour cream
2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
2 tablespoons butter
skewers
1tbsp jeera powder
1tsp elaichi powder
1 tsp cinammon powder
1 tbsp chat masala
3tbsp of besan
1 egg..

Preparation:

Place almonds in a small bowl and cover with water. Allow to soak for 15 to 20 minutes; drain. Place almonds, peppers, garlic, ginger, and cilantro into the bowl of a food processor; blend until smooth. Season with salt,masalas and blend in lemon juice. Blend in cream.
Transfer mixture to a large, non metallic bowl. Place chicken in bowl, and turn to coat. Cover, and marinate in refrigerator for 24 hours.
now slightly roast the besan...then mix it wid the egg ,a little butter and chat masala...coat all the chicken pieces....
use the skewers and pre heat oven to 375...cook for 35 -40 mins...turning the skewers from time to time...and take butter and chat masala in a bowl...baste the skewers from time to time...for the last 5 mins plac e the skewers under the broiler to get it the charred look...
