Low back ache......a very common condition amongst the urban population mostly of the middle age groiup . It is the result of faulty posture, ageing factors, nutritional causes, injuries.and sometimes infections of the tissue related to low back portion.

Low back area......relates to the area  around the hip and the waist.  This area is the intersection between the upper part of the body and the lower part. It is a major weight bearing portion of the body and is made up of strong muscles covering a series of strong bones called vertebrae which basically protects the spinal cord and is responsible for movements of the body trunk. The series of bones [vertebrae]..are arranged in a stack interspaced with  a cushion of cartilage meant to absorb the shocks recvied by the back and thus protect the spinal cord.  

Low back ache ....can be a result of any disturbance of the normal positionings of the tissue in the low back area. Direct injury to the area deffinetely causes pain of various hues. Injury can also result from overuse,improper use, lack of use of this area.  Too much of job requiring weight lifting or twisting of body can suddnly cause low back pain in mild to severe form. On the other hand lack of exercise , loss of muscle tone also invites low back ache.

  Low back ache could also b due to infections of the tissue in the area. Infections of the bones or the nerves and even the muscles can cause mild to moderate pain which restricts the normal routine of an individual.

Low back ache ....can also b the result of problems with underlying organs specially the kidneys..ovaries....uterus and also the skin of that area. Traumatic conditons of the kidney ...infections of the kidney can result in low back ache.

Low back ache ....is a very common problem with ladies ofthe age group of 30 yrs and above.  These women are mostly energetic and give most of their energies in job and family chores.  They work very hard to acheive their goals without much attension to the correctness of posture or weight lifting limitations.

Pregnany is a very important reason for low back ache. The hormonal changes during pregnancy loosens the ligaments and muscles of the lower back facilating the easy passage of the develpoing baby. This looosening of the ligaments cause pain and improper walking abiliteis resulting in low back ache. The weight of the developing baby also added to the dileeama.

Tumours of the uterus and the ovaries and the tissues of gynaecological  concern also cause pain in the lower part of the back.

Infections of these organs also involve the nerves and give pain which could be long lasting or only for a very short time.

Low back ache....can be diagnosed by varied radiological tests..and and also pathological investigations. x-rays and C.T scans help in detecting bony defects or any soft tissue irregularities.

 E.M.G helps in detecting any muscular weakness  to b cause ofthe low back ache.

Different pathological tests can immediately pin point on the cause of the sourse of infections. 

Utrasound  also helps in detection of the cause of low back ache.

Some times low back ache remains undetected and  and undiagnosed.

Low back ache..... has been treated by taking analgesics and pain killers by the patients themseves till painkillers do not give releif anymore. 

low back should not b taken lightly and ignored. Early detection of the root cause helps the person and is also easy for the doctor to treat the person.

Low back ache has to b treated according to the root cause.

The basic fundamentals of the treatment involves strengthening of the support.....by doing light exersice...keeping proper posture. Learning proper weight lifting techniques. 

Low back ache ...in most people is people is weight related;.........the following simple instructions if followed can releive many low back aches.....

1.  weight control. ....staying within the weight for height ranges will releive the stress on the back muscles and the vertebral column.

 

2.  proper postures....sitting erect on chair without slumping or twisting the low back region will work wonders.  The spinal cord needs to b supported and the curve mentained.

 

3.  Exersice....helps in building the tone of the muscles around the low back region. Light muscle toning xercise done everyday without fail will banish many low back aches for sure. This is a well tested and sure shot treatment.

 

4.  Massage therapy.....is also a effective nonexpensive treatment.  Before you venture intu this non invasive treatment.you must consult your orthopaedician. 

Regular light masagging will release the toxins trapped in the muscles and also bring tone and elasticity to the muscles. This banishes all pain and brings about a sense of well being.

 

5. Yoga.....is a combination of excise and mental training which helps to releive pain and ignore psychological brooding over pain. Yoga has to learned from an expert otherwise this may aggravate the painful conditions.

 

 

6.  ..besides all this medicines and drugs mus be taken if prescribed by a specialized docter. Nowadays there are  doctors catering to only care and treatment of low back ache.

 

LOW BACK ACHE IS A PROBLEM AFFECTING MANY ..BUT  SIMPLE METHODS OF PREVENTING AND PERSONAL CARE CAN RELEIVE MANY PEOPLE AND THEY CAN LEAD A PAIN FREE LIFE.
